This is my 9th teaching at Rock Creek Elementary. My desire is to motivate my students in such a way that they reach their goals and accomplish more than they ever imagined was possible....Never Give Up! I believe that through hard work, dedication, and a lot of effort students can achieve what they think is the impossible.
I hold an Associates of Science Degree in teaching from Motlow State Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Elementary Education (K-6) from Tennessee Tech University, and a Masters Degree in Administration & Supervision (K-12) from Middle Tennessee State University. I also hold an Associates of Science Degree with a business emphasis from the University of the State of New York.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Ernie and we live in Tullahoma with our two fur babies, Stormy and Midnight. I have two sons, Kyle and Trey. I am also a "Blessed" Mimi of two grandchildren, Reagan and Rhys, who have brought so much love, happiness, and joy into my life.
I enjoy sports, especially basketball. I was a student athlete throughout my school career which included Rock Creek, North Junior High, and Franklin County High School. Some of my favorites are caramel lattes (coffee), cherry sundrops (Sonic), white chocolate Kit Kat and Twix candy bars, outdoor activities, Lighthouses, Snoopy, and most of all hanging out with my family.
